Assignment 2-Safe Blogging

Blogging is something a lot of kids are doing in their technology classes around the country. It is a great way to write and tell about the things you are learning in class and at school. However, there are many things you have to be careful for online. Here are somethings to watch out for so you stay safe online:

  • Watch out for what you type because anything could be public. You don’t know how your comments can get messed up during different updates. Everything you post on your blog can be on the internet forever.
  • Never post any personal information online. You never know what kind of person could be on the other side of the screen.
  • Don’t post content that is mean or hurtful towards someone else. Everyone can see when you do that.
  • Always use correct grammar when posting online. You want people to think you know what your talking about.
  • Read people’s comments to have feedback to make your posts better. You always want to make your post well written and understandable.
  • Always cite other people’s work. You have to give them credit for the work they did.

Make sure you do these things to make your blog as good as possible.
